WHIPPED CREAM has released her debut album, HOME WAS ALWAYS ME, today, April 30, through the Monstercatrecord label. This follows her popular lead single ‘it’s time to go home,’ the engaging track ‘stranger,’ and the creative interpolation of Tamia in ‘2 u.’

Caroline Cecil, the Canadian producer and vocalist known as WHIPPED CREAM, has earned a stellar reputation for her storytelling through powerful and expressive vocals in various house and techno music styles. Her previous EPs include Careline (2025), is this real? (2024), Someone You Can Count On (2023), and Who Is Whipped Cream? (2020). In HOME WAS ALWAYS ME, WHIPPED CREAM presents a collection of cinematic dance tracks that express deep emotions and explore the human experience. The album’s themes connect with a broad audience.

The main track, ‘midnight moon,’ is a heartfelt song for anyone who misses a meaningful connection. WHIPPED CREAM described the track by saying, “‘midnight moon’ is one of the most personal songs I’ve ever made. It’s about someone I was deeply in love with — someone I’m probably still in love with in ways I don’t always say out loud.
