AFROJACK’s underground alias KAPUCHON is making waves again, this time landing on one of house music’s most respected imprints. The project debuts on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations this Friday with ‘Secret Moves,’ marking another significant step for the GRAMMY winner’s deeper exploration into club-focused sounds.

‘Secret Moves’ represents KAPUCHON’s latest exploration of raw, experimental productions rooted in the early sounds of house and techno. The track is built around a hypnotic looping groove with early ’90s hip-hop influences, leaning into a much rawer, more club-driven direction than traditional AFROJACK releases. It’s a rhythm-heavy cut designed for dancefloor impact, shaped around a constantly moving groove with slick shifts that build energy without interrupting its driving momentum.

“KAPUCHON is where I come from, and where I’m at when not on the clock,” Afrojack explains. “‘Secret Moves’ came from searching for a combo between something hypnotic mixed with some early 90s hip-hop flavor; I love sliding through genres. Releasing on Hot Creations and getting the early support from Jamie Jones is something I never could’ve seen coming.”

The KAPUCHON project has been gaining serious momentum throughout 2026. His recent collaboration ‘Hot Sauce’ with Miss Monique and GLZ reached #1 on Beatport’s Melodic House & Techno chart for over two weeks, while earning support from major names including Jamie Jones, Anyma, Dom Dolla, Peggy Gou, Chris Lake, and Charlotte de Witte.

Created as an outlet for Afrojack to reconnect with the dancefloor where his career began, KAPUCHON serves as a vehicle for productions that explore his wider artistic vision beyond the mainstage. While Afrojack continues to bridge underground and mainstage worlds through recent performances at Ultra and his Coachella back-to-back with Shimza, KAPUCHON offers a distinct space for deeper underground sounds built purely for the dancefloor.
