Two Legends Unite

Melbourne superstar Dom Dolla continues achieving greatness, winning fans worldwide, and setting new records with his impactful releases and large-scale performances. Last December, he marked himself in the history books as the first electronic artist to headline a stadium in Australia, selling out Sydney’s Allianz Stadium. And his rework of Puretone’s ‘Addicted to Bass’ brought an Australian classic to the global mainstream with over 5 million plays in less than two months.

The record, first premiered at the aforementioned Allianz Stadium performance, is a plea for help, made in the hope of a better future. (One, in which aliens whisk us away to their presumably better home planet). The track builds with a rhythmic beat and alluring vocal offering companionship, flying cars and seeing stars while continuously reassuring the listener, “this ain’t the end.” A repeated, immensely satisfying, feminine voice responds, “o-kay!” clearly enthusiastic about the cosmic journey promised.

Punchy synths and a gratifying groove unleash energy, followed by irresistible percussion and an intense airsiren, bringing this tech-house ripper to another peak before ultimately releasing the audience back into the world. ‘Don’t Worry Baby’ masterfully blends Dom Dolla’s evocative bass lines with Tiga’s naturally charismatic and playfully excessive atmosphere. It’s no surprise that the record is already receiving support at festivals from Green Velvet, Adriatique, and Pete Tong.
