Berlin techno titans Pan-Pot have delivered a modern reimagining of the 1993 classic ‘Pacific Dance,’ collaborating with State of House for a release that bridges decades of electronic music history. The track drops today on their HUMAN label imprint as catalog number HUMAN007.

The duo has transformed the original into what they describe as a “hypnotic, tide-like groove driven by low-end pressure, crisp percussion, and a sense of constant motion.” True to Pan-Pot’s signature style, the remix builds subtly before becoming all-consuming, designed for full dancefloor immersion.

The release continues the expansion of HUMAN, Pan-Pot’s evolving platform that functions as both a label and global event series. Since launching this new chapter in their career, HUMAN has channeled raw techno energy into something more emotional and deeply connected, prioritizing feeling over fleeting trends.

Speaking about the remix creation, Pan-Pot shared an elaborate backstory for the track: “Late one night, somewhere between a drifting cargo signal and a forgotten island rave, Pan-Pot and State of House reportedly intercepted a rhythm echoing across the Pacific Ocean. No source. No coordinates. Just a pulse moving steadily beneath the surface, like the ocean itself had learned how to dance.”

They continued: “Drawn to it, they followed the signal. What they found was not a location, but a phenomenon. Low frequencies rolling like tides. Percussion hitting like distant storms. A groove so hypnotic it reportedly altered the direction of at least one shipping route and caused a small group of dolphins to synchronize perfectly on the drop.”

The HUMAN event series expanded significantly last year, hosting showcases in Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and the Netherlands, alongside the official Street Parade afterparty in Zurich. This summer, Pan-Pot will continue their international run across major cities and festivals.

Their upcoming tour schedule includes stops at Paris (Kilomètre25) on April 25th, followed by their HUMAN Mayday all-day event at Cassiopeia in Berlin on May 1st. The duo will then hit INPUT in Barcelona on May 2nd before heading to Drumcode Mallorca on May 8th.

Festival appearances are lined up for BAUM Festival 2026 on May 22nd, Forbidden Forest Festival in the UK on June 4th, Chocolate Festival in Switzerland on June 5th, and 909 Festival in Amsterdam on June 6th.
