Artwork and Meaning

The artwork for ‘Granular’ features a stunning aerial image of an outer reef, captured by Australian photographer Brooke Pyke. Australia is home to the Great Barrier Reef, the world’s largest coral reef system. This ecosystem supports more than 1,500 species of fish and 400 species of coral.

In alignment with this visual narrative, the Australian Marine Conservation Society continues its vital work protecting the country’s oceans and marine life. They campaign against overfishing, reduce plastic pollution, and safeguard threatened species and habitats.

Brooke Pyke is an award-winning marine life photographer based on Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia. With a background in diving, she has dedicated her career since 2014 to capturing the beauty of the underwater world through ocean, travel, and adventure photography.
