On March 30, the multi-platinum duo unveiled their radiant new single, ‘The Sun Comes Up Tremendous,’ a deeply emotional track that also features lead vocals from Howard Lawrence. Released through Disorder / Capitol Records, the song arrives alongside an official music video that matches its introspective mood with striking coastal visuals.

For longtime fans, this release feels especially meaningful. ‘The Sun Comes Up Tremendous’ marks the first Disclosure song to feature Howard on lead vocals since their 2023 album Alchemy, and the result is both personal and powerful. Rather than chasing pure club energy, the duo lean into something more delicate here. The track explores the uneasy space between confidence and doubt, slowly unfolding into a cinematic blend of trembling synths, pulsing percussion, and sweeping strings.

That emotional contrast is what makes the song hit so hard. Disclosure have always known how to make dance music feel human, but this one goes even deeper. While recent releases like ‘Deeper’ with Leon Thomas and the Anderson .Paak collaboration ‘NO CAP’ delivered explosive energy, ‘The Sun Comes Up Tremendous’ chooses a more vulnerable route. The run begins on April 7 with a two-night stand at the Santa Barbara Bowl and includes major stops like a three-night run at Mission Ballroom in Denver, two nights at The Eastern in Atlanta, and a return to Coachella on April 10 and 17. Disclosure have also expanded the tour with newly added DJ shows in seven cities, including Vancouver, Miami, and Washington, DC.

With ‘The Sun Comes Up Tremendous,’ Disclosure prove once again that they are not afraid to evolve.
