Global sober dance movement Daybreaker is bringing its immersive ‘HEATWAVE’ sauna rave experience to The Standard Spa, Miami Beach on Sunday, May 31st. The event will transform the iconic waterfront wellness destination into a late-night gathering centered on heat, music, movement, and human connection during Miami Swim Week.

Presented in collaboration with PARAISO, the platform behind Miami Swim Week, the event serves as the official Swim Week closing party. The gathering reimagines the traditional afterparty format through a fully alcohol-free experience rooted in presence, physicality, and communal release.

Running from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM, the evening will blend guided sauna journeys, cold plunges, immersive music, and dance inside one of Miami’s most recognizable wellness spaces. Guests will move between steam rooms, hydrotherapy circuits, poolside gathering spaces, and a high-energy dance floor designed to create an atmosphere that feels equally euphoric and restorative.

The Miami event builds on Daybreaker’s growing series of sauna rave experiences, which have rapidly emerged as some of the organization’s most sought-after gatherings. Blending electronic music culture with ancient bathing rituals, the format reflects a larger movement toward sober-curious nightlife, social wellness, and more intentional communal experiences, particularly among younger generations increasingly moving away from alcohol-centered social culture.

Long before terms like ‘soft clubbing’ or ‘daylife’ entered the mainstream conversation, Daybreaker had already spent more than a decade building large-scale alcohol-free gatherings designed around movement, emotional openness, and connection. Through sunrise dance parties, wellness festivals, sauna experiences, and immersive cultural events, the organization has helped pioneer an entirely different framework for nightlife and social gathering.

The collaboration with PARAISO Miami Swim Week also reflects the growing overlap between fashion, wellness, music, and experiential culture. Since launching in 2018, PARAISO has evolved Miami Swim Week into a broader celebration of creativity, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle innovation. For this event, PARAISO brings sustainability-focused swimwear brand NATASHA TONIC to present their SAUNA capsule collection, designed specifically for high-heat environments and sauna experiences.

Held at The Standard Spa, Miami Beach—long regarded as one of the city’s defining wellness destinations—the event offers a setting uniquely aligned with the HEATWAVE concept. Known for its hydrotherapy spaces, holistic programming, and bayside atmosphere, the venue provides an immersive environment where guests can move fluidly between sauna rituals, cold immersion, music, and dance throughout the evening.

The Miami HEATWAVE edition follows a growing series of high-profile Daybreaker events around the country, including recent gatherings atop One Times Square in New York City, at Wynwood Walls during Miami Music Week, and at the newly opened OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
