As thousands of bass heads descend for two nights of Subtronics and Grizz at the Gorge ampitheater in Washington, things have not been going according to plan and causing frustration. With reports of long wait lines reaching 12-14 hours before reaching security and tollbooths. Even locals say it is the worst traffic congestion they have seen in over 20 years.
It is reported that due to new Live Nation management there is a new security team in place. Which is not an excuse for a poorly run event with people running out of gas and according to fans attending, fights breaking out in line due to frustration. Fans are looking for accountability and no official explanation has been reported.
While the Subtronics team is doing their best to manage the situation, Subtronics surprised fans with a pop up set at the campground. This was met with a mix of emotion while some people are calling it a “slap in the face” to those still waiting in line. While there has been a statement from the Griztronics team who have been communicating with venue management no official statement has been provided from Live Nation.
Set times are posted below although it is being speculated that set times could be pushed earlier due to the long wait.
Campers will now receive a full refund due to the wait times.
GRIZ posted a personal apology and addressed issues campers faced.
