Do LaB announced that Lightning in a Bottle 2026 has officially sold out, marking the festival’s first complete sellout in nearly a decade.

Lightning in a Bottle’s 2026 edition takes place May 20-24 at Buena Vista Lake in Bakersfield, California. The sellout underscores the continued appeal of community-driven festivals that prioritize art and immersive experiences alongside the music programming.

This year’s lineup features headliners Empire of the Sun, Zeds Dead, Sara Landry, Mau P, Barry Can’t Swim, and Chase & Status, alongside rising stars like Mochakk, Tinashe, Of The Trees, and Overmono. The roster also includes Nia Archives, Hot Since 82, Jayda G, Dimension, DJ HEARTSTRING, Ivy Lab, Daily Bread, Avalon Emerson, Conducta, Oppidan, and Flava D among others. In total, over 250 artists will perform across eight stages throughout the five-day event.

The sellout year comes with significant venue improvements and programming expansions. Do LaB has redesigned the Junkyard stage and reimagined the Stacks stage with added dance platforms. Interactive spaces like the Unicorn Palace and Frick Frack return alongside new additions including The Moon Room ambient lounge and the Arcadium experience.

The milestone edition caps off a notable year for Do LaB, which delivered standout weekends with its Do LaB Stage at Coachella this past April. Surprise performances and special guests across both Coachella weekends included Anyma, John Summit, Romy, Tinashe, Isaiah Rashad, GRiZ, Adriatique, Cloonee, Hamdi, Sub Focus, and Marlon Hoffstadt, making it one of the festival’s most talked-about destinations.

Lightning in a Bottle has established itself as one of California’s premier transformational festivals since its inception, blending electronic music with art installations, sustainability initiatives, and community workshops.
