The countdown to EDC Las Vegas 2025 has officially begun, and with it comes a neon-lit bombshell of exciting festival updates.

From a brand-new stage to an awe-inspiring new festival theme, read on to discover everything you need to know about what's coming to the Speedway this May.

EDC Las Vegas is scheduled to return May 16-18, 2025.

Past is prologue in the case of EDC Las Vegas, which annually presents one of the year's biggest EDM lineups. 2025 is no different.

Martin Garrix, Alesso, ILLENIUM, Rezz, Charlotte de Witte, Chase & Status, Tiësto, Excision, Sara Landry, FISHER, RL Grime, Gesaffelstein, Boys Noize, SVDDEN DEATH and a rare Alison Wonderland b2b Kaskade set, among over 250 more acts.

EDC Las Vegas 2025 theme: Kinetic Metropolis

Insomniac founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella spiritedly revealed the festival's 2025 theme, kineticMETROPOLIS, in this year's "Music Through Music" livestream.

According to Insomniac Events, the theme "transforms the festival into a futuristic city of sound, energy and connection.'

Stage upgrades, expansions and final farewells

EDC Las Vegas 2025 will feature 16 total stages and over 250 artists.

cosmicMEADOW: This beloved stage will feature a special live act this year, though Rotella kept the details under wraps.

bassPOD: This year's edition will be the final year of the current stage design, meaning this is your last chance to rage in its current form before it gets a makeover in 2026.

bionicJUNGLE: With an expanded dancefloor and a stacked lineup of stage hosts including HARD Recs, Live From Earth, HARD Selects, Planet X and Factory 93, this year's stage is "bigger than ever," per Insomniac.

quantumVALLEY: The trance music haven is getting a new stage design with hosting duties split between Interstellar and Dreamstate.

wasteLAND: The heavy-hitting bass fortress will retain its iconic container aesthetic but introduce a reimagined layout, with one dedicated day set aside for hard techno and hardcore.

stereoBLOOM: This stage is expanding its dancefloor and adding a VIP area for more space to groove.

neonGARDEN: Expect a fusion of past and present in this stage's 2025 redesign, with hosting duties split between Factory 93, Miami's Club Space and the newly added Time Warp.

Introducing the new Ubuntu stage, a celebration of Afro-house music

A fresh addition to EDC's stage lineup, Ubuntu will make its debut in Nomadsland. Developed in collaboration with South Africa’s Bridges For Music Academy, the stage will showcase the rich rhythms of Afro-house, featuring performances by up-and-coming students as well as "legendary" South African artists.

This addition marks a major cultural expansion for EDC, bringing global sounds to the forefront of the stateside EDM festival experience.

A full-ride scholarship to Icon Collective for Discovery Project Winner

Insomniac's Discovery Project has partnered with the prestigious Icon Collective to offer a game-changing opportunity for emerging talent. The winner of the EDC Las Vegas competition will receive a full-ride scholarship to the LA-based electronic music production school.

The EDC Las Vegas Charity Auction returns

For those looking to give back while securing some one-of-a-kind experiences, the EDC Las Vegas Charity Auction returns on March 17th. Fans can bid on exclusive festival perks and memorabilia, with all proceeds going to charitable causes.

Hotel EDC returning in 2025

The festival's beloved "Hotel EDC" experience is back for another immersive weekend of EDC-themed experiences. This year, however, it's heading to its new home at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

Packages include a three-night stay, access to day parties, wellness sessions, happy hours, gift bags with limited-edition merch items, and specialty food and cocktails throughout the resort.
