Carl Cox Returning to Ibiza With Summer DJ Residency at New Club, [UNVRS]

Techno legend Carl Cox is set to make a high-profile return to Ibiza this summer with a residency at Ibiza's newest clubbing destination, [UNVRS].

The iconic DJ and producer will take over Sunday nights, promising a back-to-basics approach focused on "unfiltered, soul-stirring music."

"This is more than a comeback; it’s a reunion with the island that shaped so much of my journey," Cox said in a press release. "I’m ready to take it back to what it’s all about—unfiltered, soul-stirring music. Sundays at [UNVRS] is something I really want Ibiza to experience. It’s the night I believe the island should have."

[UNVRS] (pronounced "Universe") is positioned as a cutting-edge venue with an emphasis on innovative production and immersive experiences. The club aims to "set a new global standard" for the White Isle's nightlife sector while providing Cox with a platform to curate diverse lineups, blending techno and house music heavyweights with appearances by seminal Ibiza DJs.

Yann Pissenem, founder and CEO of The Night League and Ushuaïa Entertainment, described the partnership as a pivotal moment for the storied party island.

"Carl’s legacy is inseparable from Ibiza's story, and with this new residency, we’re setting the stage for the next era," Pissenem said. "Sundays will never be the same again. It’s an absolute honour to have him at the helm of this groundbreaking chapter."

Cox's [UNVRS] residency is scheduled to begin June 22nd, 2025 and will run every Sunday night until its conclusion September 21st. You can purchase tickets here.
