The energy in Toronto was electric this past Tuesday, April 21st, as Aaron Hibell brought his cinematic sound to The Opera House. This kicks off his North America Tour and it’s his first time in Canada, having recently dropped his SYNCHRONICITY project. Hibell is currently one of the most exciting names in the scene blending orchestral sounds with techno and progressive as he performs a live show. His Toronto stop proved exactly why he’s garnering support from the likes of CamelPhat and Anyma.
Hibell’s set included crowd favorites ‘ghost’, ‘destroyer of worlds’, ‘set me free’ and his John Summit ‘Human’ remix. He performs new songs from his new album. The visuals are great as he has his own lighting fixtures that fit the vibe.
His set seemed like more of a live performance of his new album instead of your typical “DJ Set”. While Aaron does DJ sets regularly and surely played here, the live performance is something that you have to keep in mind — it’s another dimension added to the show.
If you are hoping to see Aaron Hibell he is currently on his North America Tour:
